I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’ve known Erica for half of my life.  HALF?!?!  Ummm…when did I get old enough to know someone that long?!?!  I never imagined when we were 13 that I would be photographing her wedding and watching her marry a guy that is so perfect for her.  Life has definitely changed…but she is still the same.  Kind with this witty sarcasm that makes everyone around her constantly laugh.  And then there’s Terry.  Her perfect fit.  He’s quiet…but you can tell by the way he looks at her that he couldn’t live without her.  In the short time I’ve been around them…watching how much they make each other laugh…I have no doubt that they are going to have one happy life.

Erica and Terry…thank you SO much for making me a part of your special day.  I felt like I was in middle school again…laughing non-stop and taking a few trips down memory lane.   I hope you guys have the happiest life and let’s not let another 10 years go by before we see each other again!

I can’t believe it’s already Monday.  I feel like I’ve been in the middle of this whirlwind and all my days are starting to blur together.  In a good way of course.  I spent last week in Portland (more on that later this week) then got home and immediately turned around and headed to Indy for some Kenny Chesney and to see my little peanut of a niece.  She’s getting so big.  I’m missing everything…it’s so depressing.  🙁  So today I’m going to slow it down and catch up on life.  I will not let my to-do list overwhelm me…I’m just going to win the day.  And today…that starts with a little sneak peek of Erica and Terry.  You’ll be seeing a lot more of them later this week…

Happy Monday!

He is the strong, silent type…but with a hint of funny.  He may not say a lot but what he does say speak volumes.  His kindness is something I strive towards and the love he has for Lisa is undeniable.  He balances her out in the most perfect way.  And she compliments every part of him.  She’s funny, loyal, caring…and one of the most complete, genuine people I know.  And I feel so lucky to call them friends.  Great friends.  I was lucky enough to be there the night Eric proposed and I don’t think I’ve ever felt such authentic happiness.  And they’re wedding day was no different.  Every nerve and butterfly was calmed because they knew this was it.  This was the day they got to marry their best friend.  I know people say they are marrying their best friend…but it’s never been truer than with Lisa and Eric.  They are truly soul mates and so obviously meant to be.

Lisa and Eric…I feel so incredibly honored to call you guys friends.  More than you know.  Being a part of two such important days in your life is truly flattering.   And something I am so grateful for.  I love you guys so much and I know your life is going to be nothing short of perfection.  Here’s to many more double dates, trips to NPP and lots and lots of glasses of wine!  🙂

I have this vision of walking up to the girls in the Starbucks line in front of me who are dressed way cuter than I ever will be and introducing myself.  Hi, I’m Lauren.  I have a blog and I do a series called Fashion Friday.  I love your outfit and I was wondering if I could take your photo for my blog.  But then I envision them giving me the world’s dirtiest look and blowing me off.  And everyone else in the Starbucks line looking at me like I’m an idiot.  And then I would be too embarrassed to ever go back to Starbucks and my life would be ruined.  So instead…I called my best friend and asked her to come over…and to please wear something cute.

1. She came over looking cute in true Stefanie rocker chic fashion.

2. She didn’t give me any dirty looks.

3. I can still go to Starbucks…and my life isn’t over.

Happy Fashion Friday!  Dear girls ar Starbucks with cute outfits…one day I will paparazzi you.  Just wait.

Love her rockin’ style! Hey, if some random photographer asked to take a photo of me, I’d be super excited! I agree w/ Christy – start asking strangers and maybe work your way up to asking a Starbuck’s girls someday! 😉ReplyCancel

Well…Peoria was a success.  It poured rain all morning on Saturday but the sun came out just in time for portraits.  It was meant to be.  Lisa became a Kulze…Eric walked away with the most beautiful wife you could ever imagine…and I even got to tear up the dance floor a little.  I forgot how much fun being a wedding guest is.  There is so much more goodness coming your way but for now here is a little sneak peek of the happy couple…
