I seriously sometimes have to pinch myself when I get to work with such awesome couples. I have been so blessed to meet and work with people that I love so much and who I am so lucky to call friends. Sarah and Kevin are those people. From our first meeting I knew I liked these two. We laughed over coffee and talked weddings. And as I got to know them better…they no longer felt like clients…but friends I’ve had for years. So when the day came for their engagement photos…I was stoked because I knew how much fun it would be. How could it not when you’re hanging out with these two?
We met in the morning by the Planetarium to beat the heat. We ran away from giant bugs (like big killer ones guys…and tons of them. It was terrifying)…snuggled with their adorable dog Bo…and laughed. Man did we laugh. But what I loved the most was watching Sarah and Kevin together. Because they reminded me so much of Gary and I. Never missing a chance to laugh at each other…and with each other. Never taking themselves too seriously and so obviously and completely in love. As we parted ways, Sarah handed me a bottle of wine and a mini-cake and thanked me for answering all of her emails…or in her words…annoying emails. But Sarah trust me when I say this…there is absolutely nothing annoying about them. Because that’s what friends do.
Sarah and Kevin…I seriously had so much fun with you guys. Even if we did almost get killed by the death swarm of bugs. Lol. I feel so lucky to have met you both and am honestly so grateful to get the chance to work with couples like you. Kevin…I promise one day we’ll do photos where you’re allowed to wear sweat pants. Scouts honor. Love you guys to death and can’t wait for your big day!!!!! xoxo Lauren
