Tim Allen talking about “play time” and “road trips” and the happiness of Pure Michigan literally makes my heart smile. When I hear that soft, monotone voice it takes me to an entirely different place. I imagine a place where time is slower and the days are longer. I imagine watching the sunset over the water without a care in the world. Next weekend…I get to experience my daydream. I am spending a long, glorious weekend in Pure Michigan and I cannot freakin wait!
So I thought it would be very appropriate to dedicate today’s Fashion Friday to Michigan…and all it’s Nantucket Red, Tim Allen, summertime goodness. 🙂
I’m going to be there over the 4th of July so I’m on the hunt for the perfect red, white, and blue outfit….I would like all these dresses please…. 🙂
I feel like I’ll be packing a lot of gingham and cuffed jean short loveliness. Unfortunately…I don’t own any Nantucket Red…maybe a shopping trip is in order….
My itinerary for this getaway consists of a whole lot of nothing. Lounging, boating, suntanning, reading, some more lounging…all while looking fabulous of course.

You totally hit the nail on the head with this one! Everything here is totally Pure Michigan! 🙂 It also happens to be every single item of clothing I wish was in my closet. SO, When I’m really rich, will you be my stylist?!?! Actually, whenever I think about going shopping, I think I’m going to call you!
I think I see a Chicago shopping trip in our future…. 🙂 Or I suppose Circle Center could work too…but not nearly as exciting. 😉
