As soon as she mentioned a Boston Terrier…I knew I liked them. I mean…I’m pretty sure pugs and bostons were related in a past life. Their squishy faces are proof. 🙂 So since our dogs were practically family I knew it was going to be a great session. The beach was packed and it was hot…really hot. For some reason our nice cool summer had turned into a heat wave on the day of our session…of course. But it didn’t matter. Jackie and Andy (and Lola) were as adorable and snuggly as ever. They were constantly laughing and making my job so easy. As the sun had just fallen below the trees and our session was wrapping up…we decided this was the kind of night where you get in the water. And that is exactly what they did. Hand in hand they ran into the lake…fully clothed…and for a few minutes got to feel like kids again. I left our session with that feeling of overwhelming happiness in my gut. What other job lets you splash around in the lake with your clothes on….photograph two people who are so ridiculously in love…and walk home staring at the most beautiful city in the world.
Jackie and Steve Andy…thanks for reminding me how lucky I am to do what I do…and for being so much fun. You guys are awesome and I’m pretty sure our dogs should be BFFS. 🙂

These are so sweet!! The light is perfection – and I was laughing so hard at the pup rolling around behind them, and the one where she’s just staring at his shins!! hahaha Oh my gosh. haha Love!
