Fashion Friday : Me. The brand.

So…I’ve kind of been holding out on you.  After Spread the Love last June…Mary basically called me out and started making me really think hard about my brand.  The conclusion I came up with was that it wasn’t me.  At all.  It was everything I thought I was…but not me in the least.   Determined that I could rebrand myself…I headed to pinterest to put together the world’s largest branding board.  I mean it kind of got out of control.  After months of putting it off…I realized this is something that I couldn’t…and just didn’t want to do myself.  So I turned to my long time friend/rockstar designer/amazing photog, Ravyn Stadick at Three Fifteen Design and begged her to help.  I mean…I really didn’t have to beg at all…but it sounds much more dramatic that way.

 

I wasn’t sure what I expected…but whatever it was she blew me totally out of the water!  I remember sitting on my couch when she sent me my design board and literally getting chills.  I left my laptop open all night just so I could stare at it.  I’m not even kidding.  It was romantic…classic…comfy…girly.  It was everything I didn’t even know I wanted.  While this may be a stretch for Fashion Friday…if you ask me there is nothing more fashionable than defining a brand that is truly you.

Can I just say I love that she managed to somehow make coffee, bracelets, and cowboy boots fit together so perfectly.  Rockstar.

 

**sidenote…I just got the final proofs back for my logo and I am BEYOND excited.  It is so perfect.  Seriously.  If you are thinking about rebranding or branding for the first time…contact Ravyn…she will rock your socks off!!!!
